  1. Get the 3.3.5a client

    Any clean Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a (build 12340) client works.

  2. Set the realmlist

    Open Data/enUS/realmlist.wtf (or enGB) and replace everything with:

    set realmlist
  3. Log in

    Start Wow.exe and sign in with the account you created here.

Downloads

Bleakhold needs a WoW 3.3.5a (12340) client plus these patches. Put each file in the folder shown, then delete the Cache folder once.

Do not install other client patches (old HD packs, druid-form mods, extra patch-7 / patch-8 files from client downloads). They replace Bleakhold's data and break custom content.

Bleakhold HD (optional)

Project Reforged's HD models, spell effects, sounds and maps, made compatible with Bleakhold. Only for players who want it; nothing changes for anyone else.

  1. Install the required patches above first.
  2. From the Project Reforged downloads get: patch-A (HD Character Models), patch-C, patch-M, patch-P, patch-S (Standard). Optional: patch-G, patch-I, patch-N, patch-U, and patch-B + patch-D + patch-E together.
  3. Make a folder named Reforged next to Wow.exe and put the Reforged files there. Not in Data: their names clash with ours.
  4. Download Bleakhold-HD.zip, unzip it into your WoW folder and run Bleakhold-HD\Install-Bleakhold-HD.bat.
  5. Recommended: St0ny's EXE Patcher → press R (Reforged preset). Never enable patches marked [unsafe].
